In the work of Analog Collage by Simão Matos, nothing is connected by chance. Randomness rarely comes into play. The idea comes from the artist, but this will never be nothing more than a challenge. It doesn't have to be the same as that of the viewer. It exists or is built-in in each look. Sometimes it is evident, sometimes not so much. For that reason, in each composition, there is space for invention. The encounter between the visual and the latent metaphor in each one of us is set. The work adapts to any circumstance. The analogy present in each proposal, or the first challenge, is found in the title. Sometimes ironic, other times ambiguous, but an open invitation is permanently configured.
