Elisa M. da Costa, Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, 1975. Degree in Accounting from the University of Aveiro. 

From an early age, she showed an interest in drawing, having started her training in painting at age 16, attending a studio in Espinho. At that time she explored various artistic techniques, starting to work with textures and various materials, incorporating them into her works. She developed her artistic curiosity, visiting several exhibitions in Portugal and Europe. 

In 2006 she attended the Human Body Drawing course at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto, in 2017 the Practical Course in Painting, Colour, Composition and Interpretation, and the Course on Current Painting Practices and Techniques at the same Faculty. 

She enjoys working with various techniques, composing pieces that feature a variety of textures, colors, brushstrokes and layers, overall achieving a strong, expressive and honest artistic signature. 

Costa exhibits in Portugal, making her works part of Private collections in Portugal and several countries around the world, namely France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Bahrain and the United States.
