From the Latin, Amicis [friends], this gin is a celebration of the Beiras region, its flavors, its nature and, in particular, friendship. It is distilled from 14 natural botanicals from this region, giving it a unique flavor and characteristics, including the floral touch of carqueja [gorse], the freshness of erva de santa maria [Mexican tea] and eucalyptus, as well as native products like walnut and honey.

Sustainability Policy and Actions: The products used in producing Amicis originate from the Serra de Açor and Serra de Sicó, in the central part of the country, contributing to local production and development. All stages of product development are carried out in Portugal, favoring Portuguese companies, with policies of sustainability, ethics and social responsibility.

Awards: In 2017, shortly after its market launch, it was awarded the Médaille d'Or 2017 Gold Medal at the Spirits Selection By Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, a competition that recognizes drinks from around the world.

Trivia:

- The project was presented on the Shark Tank Portugal program in 2016 and acquired by entrepreneur Marco Galinha who, together with two partners, set up the company and created the Amicis brand.

- The color of the bottle symbolizes copper, the color of the stills where it is distilled.
